I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor as well as a National Certified Counselor with over 20 years of experience. I have worked with individuals and families in a variety of settings including a forensic psychiatric hospital, crisis center and substance abuse treatment facility. I'm happy to bring my years of experience into private practice where I get to work extensively with clients who want to live more consciously and with intention, break free from self-defeating beliefs and redefine themselves as they move in the direction of the lives they desire.
I believe that each of us has within ourselves the capacity to discover our own true happiness. Sessions are interactive and collaborative and explore all aspects of your life to foster a true state of overall wellness. I am a Certified Clinical Anxiety Professional and a Certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher. I am highly specialized in using a unique combination of research-based neuroscience techniques and holistic approaches to teach mindfulness meditation and other mind-body and mental management tools.
I see my role as a supportive, non-judgmental listener as well as an experienced clinician that can offer effective therapeutic techniques and constructive feedback.
